I can't decide whether to give this 2.5 or 3.5. The first 60 % or so of the book was fast-paced and gripping. Then the love triangle/angle almost completely killed my interest.
I think Oliver and Meredith getting together at the party, their whole relationship tbh, didn't make sense to me. Even at the end of the story I just felt bad for Meredith, who still wanted to be with Oliver, since Oliver got the clue that James might be alive. Girl's doomed to forever be the third wheel. The open ending (practically a cliffhanger) was so dissatisfying. Get out of here with your "Exeunt omnes".
