Another one I enjoyed from Alexis Hall. Rosaline competes in a "Great British Bake Off" style competition show. The contestants, the baking, her best friend, and her child all add interesting depth to the story. The author is funny and the banter is solid. I felt like it took too long for Rosaline to realize one of the characters was more of a villain, but few complaints aside from that.
