The Getaway List had loveable characters and I really enjoyed the found family aspect of the novel. Riley’s character arc was relatable being a teen and finding her own way without a meddlesome parent to dictate it. There were tender moments between best friends Tom and Riley that were sweet and I liked how supportive the new found friends were of each other.

Also, the narrator did a great job with keeping me engaged within the story
