Monica is a symphony conductor who needs a vacation. Her husband and boyfriend collectively convince her to take the holidays off, and promise her all the rest she needs and all the satisfaction her body can handle. But can Monica listen to her lovers, and her body?
So I love this. An overworked mom, who doesn't feel right when she's not going, or doing, or overseeing. Two lovers, who know she's reached the limit, even if she doesn't know herself. I love the family dynamics of this. Because it was a family story, first and foremost. The author never hesitates to speak on the connection of these people, and their ties and commitment to each other. The sex is passionate and healing at the same time. It's meant to give Monica strength, and relief, and let her know she's loved. I loved how they knew her, how they went to her, how even when Terrence and Obi were upset with her, they didn't punish her. That's love. A nice and sexy short.
