I Killed Zoe Spanos by Kit Frick

4.0

Someday I'll learn how to adjust my expectations of literally every thriller to accommodate the reality that the most fun part for me is all the parts before the end! But that said the end of this book was v impressive. "How can you resolve all of this in a way that feels both possible and earned???" I demanded, and the book was like, "Here's how," and I was like, "Oh, damn, all right. It works." And it does but it still didn't feel as satisfying as the rest of the book. Which is how thrillers work!!! Which I can handle!!! Also tbh there's a character I still don't trust and think probably actually did the murder but I also feel like I'm probably not supposed to think that.
