Girl Friends by Holly Bourne
3.0
3.75 / 5 stars
This book has a very interesting and wild take on female friendships, male/female gazes and dynamics between genders and friendships from early childhood to adulthood.
It was a refreshing read, one I didn’t realise I needed until I finished it. Picked it up at the airport and couldn’t put it down between activities on holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it was cliche at parts, and I guess there was a lot I didn’t want to face, hence a drop in stars.
It was good though, something I feel a lot more people need to read and understand.
