The Sandman Vol. 1: Preludes & Nocturnes by Neil Gaiman

5.0

Local emo goes on a quest to retrieve three objects: a bag of cocaine, one of those masks you can buy for 5$ on Halloween and a red necklace, only to hit his midlife crisis by the end. Luckily his punk sister is there to uplift his spirits by killing kids. An excellent book on the ancient "gay son vs thot daughter" debate.

Jokes aside:
I love the art style, the story, the narration of the audiobook and the general vibes. If you like a main character with the personality of a wet cat, magic and mythology like I do, make sure to check it out.
