Season of the Witch: Enchantment, Terror, and Deliverance in the City of Love by David Talbot

2.0

Too breathless, too pruriant, too focused on a predetermined arc. Much of the book seems to be written in the overheated excitement of someone sharing gossip that they alone know, enjoying the attention of being the bearer of salacious information even while they pretend to be shocked or dismayed by the news they carry. Too much football, ffs the 80s were 40 years ago.
