I’ve accidentally known the ending of this trilogy, couldn’t accept it at first but then, I’ve decided that it’s fitting.
My feelings wavered. I despised the Darkling then I pitied him, intensely. Especially of his side of view, to beseen as a tool, and not a literal human being? Heartbreaking. He just didn't have a good role model growing up, and shaped him into what he is in the current timeline. This book also changed my opinion on Mal. He's still that annoying, insecure, and in my honest opinion, he pulled Alina back from the many opportunities she should be having, but then again, knowing what he really is for Alina is satisfying. Fun read.
