so. this book. very mixed feelings. i actually really liked the storyline and the characters (zac <3) but i feel like the writing was very mood-dampening.
i mean, for one thing, it was WAY too long. it could've definitely been cut down and edited. another thing is i felt it was too repetitive and the lines were way too close to each other in the story for it to be a parallel.
ALSO. this book was really good but towards the end, we get a confession, a sex scene, and then BAM! we're immediately in the epilogue, five years later. like bro, give us the good stuff like how they were as a couple, how they wrapped their careers and all around their relationship. it just felt very incomplete, you know.
so yeah, 4.25 stars for a reason.
