This is very much a separate story to that of the first three sunset warrior books.
Honestly I got about ⅓ of the way in and then skim read the rest of the book to get the gist of the plot.
While I believe the concept of this book is good, the almost too-close tie in to the sunset warrior trilogy kinda made this feel like a book 4 while simultaneously having almost no relevance to those books.
