I would have really preferred that they had stayed at the school the entire time, or at least Earth in general. Fillory was a mistake.
I enjoyed the TV series more than the books when the TV series went original and stopped following them.
The relationship I have with this series is among my strangest. I enjoy the idea of it far more than I enjoy in practice. This could've been one of my favorite series ever, but it wastes it all. It's all very unfortunate. Maybe in some other world it was written in a way I would've preferred.
