boy oh boy was this a slow fucking read
slogged through because there's transmasc rep which is all well and good, except I don't think it's executed particularly well. Wilkes uses they/them pronouns, but the specificities of the transmasc character didn't feel particularly authentic to me personally. -1 star for it being a hard ripoff of the terror without any of the daring racism of dan simmons
