Falling for My Enemy by Claire Kingsley

3.0

3.5 ⭐️ I adored Faking Ms. Right and this one just didn’t hit the same. I liked Hazel and Corban overall, but they both seemed too much like caricatures to me. I hate when authors try to write a “smart” character by making them spout random facts all the time. Sometimes it was hard to take them seriously as intelligent, highly educated people.

Their romance was heartwarming, and it was definitely a slow burn. I don’t hate a slow burn, but it felt like the story was just dragging in the middle. I was so happy when they finally got together and were in love. If the book was a little shorter, I think I would have enjoyed it more.
