Sitting here with Wyatt, I knew I was meant to be here in the bookstore. Like all the uncomfortable stuff I went through to make the changes was worth it. Like it was fate.

I adored this book soooo much! It made me laugh and gush over how cute it was. Friends to lovers always gets me because I love those scenes when they're chilling together and having these talks and funny antics of them becoming friends (to lovers). This book is about change, taking risks, and being brave. It's for the introverted hopeless romantic bookworms who are searching for their person. I want a Wyatt Rhodes.

β€œWhy did you read it?” His expression softened. β€œIt’s your favorite. I wanted a peek inside that brain of yours.”

Hannah is so adorable and I just wanted to hug her! She's trying to make a change since her 30th birthday is coming up and she realized she's lived the last 29 years of her life the same exact way unlike her mom. She's sweet, introverted, and very bookish. I loved that they were trying to change what makes her, her, but they only boosted her confidence and made her get comfortable with getting out there, getting embarrassed and failing. I loved seeing her growth and mistakes. I related to Hannah a lot.

🚨 New book husband alert! Wyatt was the sweetest guy ever yet also so protective and hot. He validated Hannah's emotions, listened to her every word, and helped her open up. He's so considerate and was always there to help Hannah's worries go away. And there were so many cute little things he did to make her feel so loved and cherished. πŸ₯Ί

I love that he's supposed to be this laid back surfer dude who only cares about surfing, but when that attachment to Hannah grew, he'd panic over her a lot and get possessive. His POVs were were entertaining because how chaotic his thoughts can get when he's experiencing these strong emotions he previously never did. 🀣 He's that type of guy who only believed in temporary...but maybe just maybe he's starting to think of forever. πŸ₯Ί

I gazed down into her eyes and nearly laughed at how I could ever think this was temporary. Her name was tattooed on the inner walls of my heart.

Spotlight on Don, the town blogger and photographer. I can't believe he started an orc erotica craze in town. 🀣 He was so funny whenever he popped up randomly. His antics were my favorite and he might've stolen the show if not for that funny part when Wyatt went all Mother Hen on Hannah.

This book is great for the summer because it's got disastrous surfing lessons, chill talks in the cove, camping trip gone spicy, and revamping a beautiful bookstore. It was cozy, cute, and oh so hilarious. I can't wait for the rest of the Rhodes brothers.

P.S. I read the bonus scene 🀣🀣 it was excellent. Can we get another scene of 🀰Hannah? I loved the Wyatt crazy mother hen scenes so much.
