Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman

2.0

there's a lot to unpack here
liked:
the writing
a few important messages scattered here and there
disliked:
the borderline predatory relationship between elio and oliver
were definitely parts that i felt were weird/uncomfortable and struggled to see the "beauty" behind it (ex. peach scene, bathroom scene)
personally couldn't relate to the level of obsession elio was at

however, i'm a young straight girl who's never been in love, so i'm definitely not the target audience
maybe i'll come back after a few heartbreaks to unlock the wisdom and emotions that this book supposedly holds
