Southern Peach Pie and a Dead Guy by A. Gardner

1.0

WARNING: If you have any any kind of disordered eating issues or are triggered by anorexic thought patterns, skip this book. No one was fat shamed but the reader - or at least, that's how I felt reading this book. The main character gains five pounds which is discussed as getting fat and her mother gives her tea to speed up her metabolism, they also discuss having to skip meals in order to eat a dessert and she is proud of herself b/c she limits herself to one cookie due to its overwhelming fat and butter content.
