“That whole interview was betrayal, Mont. Rank and utter betrayal. Guillotine-worthy. What were you doing, you sack of shit? Bending over backward for that—that chaos demon.”

“Where did you come from?” Jacob demanded. “Some kind of palace? Some kind of elderly lesbian palace?”
“Gigi isn’t a lesbian. She’s pansexual.”
Jacob stared at Eve, then stared at the sitting room.

So he assumed she had bad relationships. She couldn’t feign outrage, since she’d once dated a white guy who’d said “Wha gwan, rastaman?” to her father.

I don’t think I even need to write a review for this, just share all my favorite scenes because Talia Hibbert was in her comedic bagggg with this book. And the STEAMINESS??? My goodness.

Eve and and Jacob are an absolutely adorable couple and it was amazing to see them grow together and accept each other so completely. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Talia Hibbert creates some of the best heroes ever written and this was no exception. I really enjoyed this book and I’m sad to say goodbye to The Brown Sisters, reading this series has been an absolute pleasure.

I also want to add, Talia Hibbert does minor/supporting characters just as brilliantly as she does everything else, particularly in “Take A Hint, Dani Brown”, and this. I loved Mont, Tessa and Alex.
