The Adventurers Guild by Zack Loran Clark, Nick Eliopulos

3.0

3.5 stars

The Adventurers Guild is a fun, lighthearted adventure with an endearing ensemble cast of characters. The plot does tend to drag on a bit, especially in the first and last few chapters, but it makes up for that with some good worldbuilding. It had the perfect amount of information - there wasn't any info dumping but there was just enough info to understand the story. In the same topic, most of the monsters are unique, and definitely would've scared me as a kid. While the dialogue did tend to feel unnatural at times, the characters felt more developed by the end of the story.

While it does have some problems with pacing and dialogue, the book makes up for it with fun characters and worldbuilding, so I consistently found myself entertained.
