The Fix by David Baldacci

4.0

Amos Decker, the man who can’t forget anything, witnesses a murder and suicide in front of the FBI building. The two dead people do not seem to be connected in anyway, and the investigators are baffled. Working with an agent from the Defense Intelligence Agency, Decker and his partner, FBI agent Alex Jamison, dig through history And family relationships to root out the cause for the tragedy. Suspense, espionage, and how relationships work are all included. It could’ve been about 1/3 shorter, as I found that the middle moved pretty slowly.
