I liked this book, but it felt like things happened very quickly.

Jason goes to Nico’s father’s diner with his daughter while his son is at karate and meets Nico. Nico is helping with his father's diner because his father just had a heart attack. While at the diner, Jason ends up telling Nico that he’s at the farmer’s market every time and so Nico goes to see him there. They have a date, Nico meets Jason’s kids in a short scene, they meet each other’s families in short scenes and that’s it.

I liked Jason’s and Nico’s characters, but their relationship development was very quick. Also, it felt like Nico only meets Jason’s kids once and it’s like they’ve known each other forever.

The other side characters seemed nice, but they were only shown in short scenes, so you didn’t really see their interactions with Jason and Nico.

This book was fine, but it was a bit quick, and I wanted to see more details.
