I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this was not my kind of book. Writing from a million perspectives seems like the sort of gimmick you thinks sounds cool but then discover it's a lot harder to execute, and I really did not enjoy it. The squirrel and bench perspectives are supposed to be unique and interesting but I just found them silly and written with the same disintresting voice as the other characters. I didn't really care about any character. I think the idea is cool, but would be very hard to do in a way that I enjoy.
