An great fantasy for reader of all ages. It's very imaginative and the world of Fantastica just feels very real and tangible to me. It's a dying world, but it still has a lot of likable aspects to it as well, such as a cast of very colorful and unique characters. Our main characters, Bastian and Atreyu, are also nicely developed and rounded characters to follow. My only real complaint about the book is
Artax's
death lacking a lot of impact, at least not making as much impact on me as it does in the movie adaptation.
