This is my return to this Dan Jurgen run which I reviewed a few years ago. There may be some slight sentimental nature attached to this volume and run overall since this was my comics' introduction to Superman. In this volume, Dan Jurgen plays with his baby “Doomsday” in the wake of the death of the New 52 Superman, and the trauma Lois has around the Death of Superman storyline from the pre-flashpoint timeline. For me, these moments with Lois and Jon had a big emotional punch. The exploration of the Lex – Superman relationship is great, is wish the Wonder Woman – Superman relationship was fleshed out more.
