The employees of a startup named Snoop go on a company holiday to a ski resort in France. The company founders and shareholders need to decide if they will vote to sell the company. After a morning of skiing, the co-founder, Eva, goes missing. Then, an avalanche buries the ski resort and cuts out cell phone reception. As people in the chalet keep dying one by one, the remaining survivors need to stay alive and get help. The chapters in this fast-paced mystery jump from the perspectives of Erica (an employee at the ski resort) and Liz (an ex-Snoop employee who has 2% voting shares). If you liked the ski resort setting of Everyone in my Family Has Killed Someone, you'll enjoy this book. The last quarter of the book read like a thriller.
