Feminism and Nationalism in the Third World by Kumari Jayawardena

A great resource to call back to about the history of feminism in Asia and the Middle East. I am a lover of history so I actually really enjoyed this. It was quite formulaic from chapter to chapter, however I found this pattern quite rhythmic and aided in reading each section.

I would highly recommend this as a jumping off point to start any exploration in feminism in Asia and the Middle East, especially for the historical context of each region/country.
