I think coming off of the high from [b:Primal|59729460|Primal (Wrong Side of the Tracks, #2)|K.A. Merikan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1638281376l/59729460._SY75_.jpg|94063025], and Jag being who he is, it was hard to top him.. I loved Jag and Shane's interactions though haha made me laugh when they would butt heads.
I think that Shane's sight on vengeance was his downfall, and kinda made me not connect with him as much as i did with Ros, i mean Shane, you had Ros who was so understanding of all your short comings and didn't bat an eye when you said you were in prison.. but then you had to ruin it to get back at his dad..
Overall a good addition to the series, but i think i preferred Jag's story to this one.. (sorry Dan, LOL).
