Dull as. I enjoyed the references to Edith and her mother, which, for me, were the more grounded aspects of the book. The later part of the novel had merit, too, but by that time the author had lost me and I really didn't care. The literary style, the emphasis on the second person, no chapters, the non-linear storytelling etc make for an utterly forgettable novel. (Sorry Victoria, I know you very much enjoyed it.)
