I have a hard time with books that highlight
how difficult Boomers had it when they were kids.
I think it's pretty well know that, in general,
the Silent Gen were shitty parents. But Boomers still refuse to go to therapy.
Books like this frustrate me. 

Also, I HATE a
miscommunication
trope. Doesn't matter if it's romantic or not. When people
refuse to communicate
it's an immediate turn off IRL and in my books.
