Master of Salt & Bones by Keri Lake

What a dark ride was this book!!

I love a lot of genres, that's a fact, but I find Dark Romance to be particularly more appealing these days.
The complexity of each character, how their mind works and their response to temptation. It really has a special appeal for me.

This book was the first I ever read from @kerilake , and from what I've read, it is suffice to say I'm very much hooked by her writing style.

Isadora is what we call a seemingly normal heroine. Seemingly being the operative word. She exudes innocence and pureness. I'm not saying she is none, but like all human, she has her dark streak. Her secrets. One of my favorite kind of character. And she is also strong, no wallflower that cowers towards whispers and she isn't afraid to speak her mind, either to the drunk asshole from the bar or the impersonation of devil.

And let me tell you, what a beautiful, scared and dark devil we got.

Lucian is the kind of man your mother warns you to stay away from, he is the guy you should avoid but you are a moth attracted to flame, so no matter how dangerous or depraved he is, you can't help but want a taste of fire.
