Defending Elysium by Brandon Sanderson

3.0

Well-written, as always; still left me, sadly, unimpressed. Some elements are very Sandersonisque and very good: worldbuilding, characters, main character's motifs. The plot, however, feels too simple, the revelation rushed, the suspension lost. It might simply be the fault of the novella's volume - it's un-Sanderson-ly short. It might also be because of a very weak "villain". Anyhow, I finished the story with "wha, is that it?". And I never ever act so indifferent with BS stuff.
