Angelica is an absolute badass!!! As the Director of the Archive, she’s one fierce, strong, powerful, resourceful and dangerous woman. Even more, she’s independent, resilient, defiant, loyal and always in control. Angelica will also do everything in her power to protect the ones she cares about. But, with everything that’s happened in her life, her soul bears the scars from everything she’s been through and she’s built high walls around her heart. Nevertheless, underneath her hardened exterior hides a gentle and caring soul who just needs the right person to be by her side on her healing journey. Angelica is one absolutely incredible woman and I loved everything about her!
And then, we have Trey - Dragon, King of Avalon and one utterly irresistible male! Trey is fearsome, strong, confident, fiercely protective and absolutely gorgeous. Even more, he’s quite cocky, fun and charming. I also loved his patience and determination - when Trey sets his eyes on something, nothing can stop him from getting it. And that Primal Dragon of his… absolutely delicious! As the runt of the royal family, Trey’s been through quite the challenges growing up. But, no matter what he’s had to deal with, he’s always come up the winner. Trey is one absolutely magnificent and utterly irresistible male and I couldn’t help but adore every shingle thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Angelica and Trey! For hundreds of years Trey has been patiently waiting for his mate and now that he’s met her, he intends to keep her. But Angelica is not a woman who would give in easily. I absolutely adored those two together! Their banters, the teasing, the tension, even the bickering - every moment they spent together was an absolute delight to read. And they were quite the badass team, too, and together with Angelica’s badass (and quite fun) family, were the right people for a dangerous mission to save the world. Angelica did try very hard to resist Trey, but love and fate cannot be denied. She and Trey danced around the growing inferno of passion between them for quite some time, and when they finally gave into the undeniable need for one another, the passionate moments they shared were blazing hot and I couldn’t get enough! Oooooh, that Dragon is just so… insatiable and irresistible. Especially. That. One. Scene! 🫠 Trey and Angelica were absolutely perfect for each other and, after everything both went through, they more than deserved to find love and happiness together!
Overall, the story is another phenomenal addition to the series! I’ve been waiting for Angelica and Trey’s story with such excitement and it was absolutely worth the wait. Inferno is filled with adventure, magic, suspense, danger, action, twists, drama, humor, scorching-hot passion and incredible characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!
