“All knowledge about the world is mediated. We are all logs floating around in water.”

If Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway met Sally Rooney’s Beautiful world where are you, and they made a book baby—this would be it. Witty with the occasional biting sarcasm. This book was both relatable and unimaginable. I particularly recommend for fans of lit/lit theory who want to take themselves a tad less seriously. :)

4.5 stars, rounded down, because despite how much I loved this, I found the translation (I presume?) a bit clunky.
