“The dead don’t walk.”
I enjoyed the concept of fungus moving the dead. I enjoyed our MC Alex, I just feel - beyond being a soldier - we didn’t really get to know them. I wanted Maddie to be ok. The male characters just all blended together for me. They all felt like the same person. Also, I wanted this to be spookier. The book is short and fast paced, so maybe that’s why I didn’t feel the spooky vibes. I do feel like this would make a good movie though.
