Octavia Davenport is dealing with PTSD from a traumatic childhood event that she annually has trouble dealing with. Jonathan Rose is a very eligible bachelor and has become Octavia’s best friend. After a young woman from Octavia’s neighborhood goes missing, Jonathan and Octavia begin working closely together and the feelings they have tried to hide come to the forefront.
Jonathan may be my favorite Rose brother so far. His patience and understanding for what Octavia was going though was special. He proved she truly was his best friend, and he had her back through it all. Even though Octavia’s dreams wouldn’t let her rest, I was glad when she got over feeling unloved. Together they made a dynamic duo.
They were both wrong dealing with Mia and Steven and I was over them both in those scenes. Selena was the perfect friend for Octavia. She was witty and honest and I can’t wait to read her story.
