Rich boy meets poor girl. Poor girl who isn't looking for riches. She came from humble beginnings, then an opportunity came to her family and they came into some good fortune. That good fortune, however was short lived and it all came crashing down. He thinks his money and fame will impress her, but he doesn't know her at all. Then there's the company he keeps. She hates, loathes, despises someone he is working with, so can she even overlook that? Both have issues with their pasts that they are dealing with. She's a strong, pretty independent woman who doesn't need a man to make her happy. He's used to people wanting him for his money and publicity, so he's a little taken back when his charms don't work on her. I liked her character. I liked him, but it didn't seem like he did a lot to really woo her. He basically stalked the girl, but didn't show that much with his actions, considering how much he wanted her. There's a few secrets that are hinted at throughout, but most don't come to light until near the end.. and boy, do they cause some turmoil. There is some steamy sexual content, some laughs, and some heart ache along the way. It alternates between POVs.
