How to Be Champion: My Autobiography by Sarah Millican

funny hopeful inspiring medium-paced

5.0

I’ve followed her comedy for awhile, and it’s always been a great pick-me-up when I’ve needed one or just want some company while cooking or painting or folding laundry or whatever. This autobiography is hilarious and brilliant and oh-so-relatable if you have self-esteem struggles. A great recounting of a life of ups and downs seen with retrospective humor and wisdom. This is definitely going into my regular rotation of comfort reading. The salty language doesn’t bother me, but I know some people can be put off by it, so just a warning about that. She tells you right at the beginning that she’s potty-mouthed, so she’s even warning you what you’re in for.
