Continuing the tale of the man known as The Governor and the character living in Woodbury, this series finally converges with the graphic novel series (the second half of book 5 and the first half of book 6) where Rick, Glen and Michonne make an appearance. Some scenes are lifted straight from the comic book and others are from different points of view or following different characters like Lilly and Austen as their relationship evolves.
Like the graphic novel, this does cover the Governor's tape of Michonne and her subsequent revenge in grisly detail, so be warned of that.
Needless to say, this has little bearing on the TV show which has only a passing resemblance to this chapter of the graphic novels.
