Broken (in the Best Possible Way) by Jenny Lawson

dark emotional funny reflective medium-paced

4.0

This was probably the most serious of her books I think--definitely still lots of funny moments and stories and descriptions, but also a lot more about her mental illness and disabilities. I didn't give this book fewer stars because it talks about those things but rather some of the slower parts that get really deep in general if that makes sense? The last chapter after the book has technically ended but before the acknowledgements (aka "These Motherfuckers") was one of my favorite parts because she talks about her experience in COVID and what recording this audiobook from home has been like and the ways in which the world shifted during COVID really actually helped her.
