Rain City Lights, by Marissa Harrison

This book kept me on my toes, made my gut curl, and had me examining life in a new way.

The writing is almost lyrical, I'm talking, deeply immersed me into the story. I can't believe this is a debut author. Her writing is beautiful, almost like poetry. Descriptive, captivating, and well rounded.

The story is told in many different POV's which I found to be rather interesting. Each voice was original, and unique. Even though the book told one whole story. The way she intertwined the lives of so many was absolutely brilliant.
