The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington
2.0
DNF.
I've seen this book multiple times at the library but I was never sure enough to pick it up. The summary was interesting, the cover was definitely interesting but I wasn't 100% on it. I guess my instincts were trying to tell me something because although this book started out very strong for me it quickly lost its flame. I actually forgot I was reading it the past few days (although that could be due to my busy schedule?). Either way, I feel like this book has a lot of promise to it, I just can't see it. So I'm leaving this book for now. I might return to it, I might not. We'll see?
