I think that rings loud and true throughout the book, as you see companies who are positioned with all the resources and knowledge possible and yet still not committed to making a change. Their commitment, however, lies with corporate greed.
I have a huge appreciation of Yvon Chouinard for the changes that were implemented in Patagonia to truly meet its mission statement (focused on the environment and quality).
I loved the sense of raw and authentic adventure that Chouinard aspired to have within his life.
I was in awe of the misconceptions that I had on what we consider truly sustainable like “wool” or “cotton”
I think that every single Fortune 500 company leader should read this book.
