big proposal at the end? In front of the whole town? Jesus Christ. Public proposals are only okay in situations where you've already discussed marriage and know that it's the plan and know that your partner would revel in the attention and sharing the moment with whoever else is present. It was all just so horribly uncomfortable.I won't go looking for more from this author.
