The characters are so descriptive with their inner monologues and thought trains, it felt intrusive (and I had a bawl). It was such a ride, going through the post big event (death of Ivan’s and Peter’s father) time of such different characters. The book effortlessly portrays the human process of grief, loss and inner turmoil, the subsequent growth.
How to sail proliferation of inappropriate attachments while you are grieving your dead father, a handbook.
