I've read Danielle Steele books in the distant past and fluff though they may be, I've enjoyed them. Picked this up at my host's on a weekend away from home and was thoroughly disappointed. The book was 90% tell with little show--almost as if it was a plan for what the author wanted to write and not the story. In addition, it was soooooo repetitive. Literally to the point of having something mentioned again only two pages after the first mention, so it's not as if I had a chance to forget it. And the dramatic resolution at the end of the book felt like such a cop-out. So many better books out there,  even by this author. I'd skip this one.
