I wanted to like this book a lot more then what I did. Set in the future, where the UN has taken over and caused a worldwide epidemic, the story was a bit far-fetched and cold. the characters were intriguing, but they seemed to fall into loyalties really quickly.
I did like Emma, the protagonist. She was strong and capable, without making constant annoying decisions. I really hate love triangles, but this one was done with less drama.
For some reason I just could never get real into the story. I think it was too long, and there was too much constant internal dialogue that made me bored.
I would recommend it to die hard dystopian/sci-fi fans.
