They met before, worked together, had a relationship then found it difficult to continue in the real world so she broke it off.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Hero is obsessed with the heroine.
The heroine pushes away for a while.

Hero is a single dad with sole custody of his daughter, the mother is not on the scene.
He is devoted to his daughter but the other woman messed with a condom, so tricked him to try to trap him.
No mention of the Hero with others during the separation, as far as I noticed.
