Enjoyably creepy, especially the tunnels. Some of the narrator switches felt a bit abrupt, but you get used to it. I'd definitely try more of Lourey's books in future. One thing I will say is that the author's note should've been put at the end of the book, not the beginning. I wish I hadn't read it first, because it colored my experience of the book. Not in a bad way per se, but it would've been far better at the end.
