I don’t know how to feel.
I texted my bookclub “I hate this pick” when I was eleven chapters in. But I just sped through the remaining 60% in the last two hours.
I don’t understand if it’s rated highly because people haven’t read other thriller/mystery books? It’s far from my new favorite of the genre. The characters were so incredibly unlikeable to me and the twists were just a little *too* predictable for it to be everything I hoped it would be.
