Very good book. I don't usually like when stories jump between points of view/ timelines but the author did a perfect job doing this in my opinion. (Spoiler if you would like to know if the dog lives or not) He lives! No injuries besides kicked away once
The only thing I did not like is the character Wiley. (Without spoilers) The way she talked to certain characters and the choices she made were just idiotic. She never thought anything through, acts mad at characters with obvious physical and mental trauma, and she leaves her son for a large period of time because he’s acting like a distant teenager. I genuinely really liked this book but she made me have to remove a star.
